Another way going up to El Teide from El Medano, a must do climb, if you staying in one of the El Medano Hotels. Your climb will start from El Medano on the TF-64 towards San Isidro and Granadilla. At Granadilla turn left towards El Teide on the TF-21, which is the same way, as the most popular segment from Los Cristianos to the top. After Granadilla follow go towards Vilaflor (another segment) and then on to the final segment from Vilaflor to El Retamar.
