Almunecar to Haza del Lino from La Rabita

Costa Del Sol, departing from Almunecar Road Hard

Climbing Haza del Lino from the village of La Rabita is a hard long route. You can also do the same loop clockwise starting your climb from Castell de Ferro going through the village of Rubite. Both ways are equally hard but starting climbing from La Rabita provides you the longest approach to Haza del Lino. You will climb from literally sea level up to 1260 metres above sea level in approximately 26kms. A steady climb with an average 5% gradient. The hardest part of the climb is after the village of Albunol. At the top, there will be some rewarding views down the mountain and out onto the Mediterranean sea. When you reach at the top of Haza del Lino you can have a well-earned coffee and snack break at Haza del Lino restaurant. From there then, there will be a long descent to Castell de Ferro and a flat ride back to Almunecar.
