Day 1

Arrival into Tenby

You will arrive into Tenby today and check-in to your hotel. We have a huge number of hotels and apartments to choose from, so we can organise your cycle break to your specify budget. This Tenby break is entirely flexible so we can tailor it to suit your needs.

Tenby is a \"postcard-maker's dream\", according to Lonely Planet. You can spend a few nights there in the seaside town and cycle or run around on some of the most beautiful parts of Pembrokeshire. The bike route is challenging but the course can be split into three different distances and according to your abilities you can pick and choose which one you will tackle over the weekend. Ideally you should be going for the whole 179 kilometres (112 miles)... The shortest distance is 72 Kilometres (45 miles) and the mid distance is 106 kilometres (66 miles). The shortest distance is just one lap of the small circuit whilst the mid distance one, will head off towards Angle before finishing the small circuit. The full distance is the same route as the mid course; however has an extra lap of the small circuit.

Day 2

Cycling the IRONMAN route

You are free to choose to ride any of the 3 routes mentioned above but we recommend you ride to the full course without the loop which is a 106 kilometres (66 miles) long and it will introduce you to all the hard segments of the ride such as the Narberth hill, and of course the Wisemans bridge and Saundersfoot for the the ‘heartbreak hill’ climb on the way back in to Tenby.

Day 3

Departure (or extend your stay)

Enjoy your breakfast, relax or have a gentle run/walk along the south beach all the way to the edge of the cliff and think about becoming an IRONMAN or registering for the Long Course Weekend.
