There are 3 ways climbing Mirador del Rio. From Orzola in the north, Arrieta from the south and from Maguez in the southwest of Lanzarote. This popular, must do, climb starts on the outskirts of Orzola on the LZ-203 heading south and is the steepest of the three. At the junction with LZ-201 turn right and head north towards Mirador Del Rio. The climb from Orzola is the toughest climb to Mirador del Rio. The climb on the LA-203 gets steep after the 1st km and eases just before the junction. After the junction the climb on the LZ-201 is steady but constant making the climb quite hard.
