Majorca, Spain Road

The Puig de Randa climp coming from Montuiri is a long and steady climb. Follow the MA-5017 all the way to the small village of Randa and then turn on to MA-5018 following the signs to 'Santuari de Cura'. This climb is also known as Cura, from the monastery at the top of the hill. It is one of the most popular rides outside the Serra de Tramuntana mountains.

The climb from Randa, can be very popular between March and May. It is an easy climb just over 5 kilometres. The average gradient is just 4% but there are some steep sections. Like the first hairpin, which is over 12% at points. The top of the climb is the highest point for miles and on a good day you can get spectacular views across the area.

There is also a possibility to start your climb from the south on Cami Vell de Gracia, which is slightly harder.
